The Lancaster Labor Council is the local body of the AFL-CIO. We are a Labor organization and serve as headquarters to the Labor Community of Lancaster County.

The mission of the Lancaster Labor Council is to improve the lives of workers, their families and our community — to bring economic justice to the workplace and social justice to the Lancaster County area.

Lancaster Labor Council works to build worker power through political education and action, supporting economic development in Lancaster County , being an active partner with business and government leaders, promoting the organizing of workers who choose to be in a union, and providing community service information and assistance for working people through Community Services of Organized Labor
